About Us

Years ago in 2006, I woke up and realized I was unhealthy. I was 182lbs and knew if I didn't change that I would be headed on a downward slope. I worked evenings at that time and after work I noticed my feet would swell. I could barely climb two flights of stairs and I had high cholesterol. My doctor warned me that if I didn't change my lifestyle I would be placed on medication. That was hard news to hear since I was only 21. For years being overweight was the norm for me. My family was use to eating whatever we liked. Fried chicken, wings, pizza, chinese food, and (my favorite) ice cream. I never played sports and I didn't monitor my food intake at all. My portions were probably a family size. However, at that moment, I had to evaluate myself. When asked by my then boyfriend to go on a couples date. I tried on every piece of clothing and none of them fit. Wallowing in my tears, jeans still at my knees (because they wouldn't go higher) I made a decision.

I AM GOING TO MAKE A CHANGE!

From that day forward I took my health serious. I started slow at home with a DVD workout and started the south beach diet. By far, I say it was the hardest journey of my life! I went through ridicule. The friends I thought I had talked badly about me. I was treated poorly. Through it
all I developed amazing strength and courage. It prepared me for the next chapter of my life, which was, motherhood.

When gaining the pregnancy weight I was in despair. However, the tools used to lose the 60lbs from 2006 gave

60 lbs Lost

me the know how to lose the 45lbs of pregnancy weight. I decided to incorporate goals as a way to keep a healthy weight. Joined a gym in 2010 after nursing school and that is where I had the most ground breaking experience of my life. I met a trainer who asked me if I wanted to do a figure competition. I had never thought about it and decided why not. It would be a way to keep me going. I never knew it would not only transform my body, but throw me into an intense passion for fitness and personal training. So here I am today, humbly here to help individuals have the same confidence building, body transforming experience I had.
